ELMU ry is a friend of music!

ELMU organizes music events that bring together music consumers and creators. ELMU’s activities include providing rehearsal and performance opportunities for bands and live music performers. The Live Music Association, ELMU ry, was founded in 1978.

In the summer of 2025, there will be many outdoor events, including ELMU’s traditional Alppipuisto Folk Festival as well as Aivopiha and Elmufest in the courtyard of Tulppis. The 2025 Aivopiha punk festival will be multilingual, featuring punk music in Swedish, Finnish, and English.

Volunteers can participate in ELMU’s music productions with a low threshold. Training is available for volunteers in various aspects of music production. Everyone is welcome to take part in ELMU’s productions according to their own possibilities.

ELMU has its own premises, Tulppis, which offers rehearsal spaces for bands. Unfortunately, the search for a new concert venue after Nosturi has not yet been successful. ELMU is actively looking for a new space to restore its own concert activities.

Another important part of ELMU’s operations is travel. ELMU offers a wide range of festival travel packages abroad. In 2025, domestic trips have also been introduced. ELMU’s trips have gained a loyal customer base.
